If there was one thing we were really keen to check out at the Mobile World Congress, it was Google Android, the search behemoth's mobile operating system. At the moment no-one has made a commercial phone running Android, but there are prototype handsets flying about the place, such as this one demoed by Texas Instruments at the Mobile World Congress.
We'll hopefully be able to buy phones running Android at some point this year -- but if you can't wait that long to see what it's like, watch this video to get a better idea of what it's going to offer. -Andrew Lim

I'm sure the device displayed here that looks like a 10 year calculator is unlikely to be anything like a finished product. Hardware aside, it's a phone!!! You can play music, call people, check email and probably a handful of other stuff that you won't use once it's lost it's sheen. Where's my teleporter?
