Thankfully HTC built this stunning device and not SE, SO hopefully it will perform as good as it looks, thanks to the inclusion of the Window mobile over UIQ.

Interesting - but didn't really demonstrate anything new. The guy demoing just moved through the same screens. Also looked a little sluggish, although that might be down to it being a prototype.
The hardware design looks pretty robust and solid - be interesting to see how it will hold up to real world usage - the bain of all slider-type phones.
