Sony invited us along to a launch event recently for its swanky new OLED Bravia TV, an ultra-thin wireless telly and a new picture frame screen -- we geared up with a camera and mic and recorded the whole thing for posterity in this video. Although the company seemed to be saving money by turning off as many lights as possible, we managed to get a good look at each model.
We spoke to Sony's TV product manager Darren Ambridge about each of the new TVs, which we should be most excited about and asked him to tell us about the new features Sony has introduced this year. He filled us in on wireless HD, 200Hz and the exciting, deep-black future of OLED.
We asked the hard-hitting questions about why the OLED TV is £3,500 in the UK and half that price in the US. An answer to that wasn't entirely forthcoming, but it's clear Sony isn't expecting to sell that many of them.
