Astonishingly, someone has taken Microsoft's creepy invitation to hold Windows 7 parties seriously. Some two dozen people turned up to Elliot Minor's OS bash, which was held at his church in Albany, Georgia. Catering included Windows 7 cupcakes, seven-grain bread and 7-Up to wash it down. Rather sweetly, Mr Minor raffled off his official Windows 7 party kits and raised $77 for a local soup kitchen. CNET News has the full story -- and pictures: Inside a Windows 7 house party.
