Apple has pushed out an update to OS X Snow Leopard, moving the version to 10.6.2. According to the release notes, it fixes a number of key problems within the OS, including the much-whined about guest account data-deletion issue.
We installed the patch this morning on a 2008 unibody MacBook and can report no issues with the process. Unfortunately though, the bug where right-clicking fails to display context menus properly for items in Finder has not been fixed. Hmph.
The download is 158MB and can be snagged by clicking the Apple logo in the Finder menu bar, and choosing 'Software update...' Or you can visit Apple's support downloads Web site and download the stand-alone installer.
