7digital and Spotify: We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do

Music store 7digital has partnered with everyone's new favourite music-streaming service, Spotify. If you've just been hit by a cyclist and developed amnesia, Spotify puts music streaming into a dead simple iTunes-like interface. You can choose a song or album to listen to in their entirety, and save them to playlists. From today, you can right-click on any song or album and choose 'buy from 7digital'.

7digital boasts six million tracks available as 320Kbps MP3. They'll be accessible via Spotify beginning with the UK, France, Spain and Germany. Spotify is free to download with occasional adverts to pay the bills, mostly voiced by vaguely famous people called Julian -- specifically, Julian Rhind-Tutt and Julian Barrat.

One really cool feature is that as well as being able to buy single songs and albums, you'll soon be able to purchase playlists. When the feature is added you'll be able to buy the CNET UK Community playlist created by CNET staff and readers, you lucky things.

The deal is another coup for 7digital, following its integration with Songbird, announced earlier this month. The store has a sale on at the moment, in which you can get the latest albums from -- among others -- Kings of Leon, the Decemberists and Bat for Lashes, for less than a fiver each.
