£50 Windows 7 Home Premium sold out, but Professional discounts still available

Windows 7

We were thanked by a number of readers for our round-up of stores still offering Windows 7 Home Premium for under £50 on Monday. But it seems now that all retail outlets have sold out of their sub-£50 copies.

From now until next year, you'll still be able to get Windows 7 Home Premium discounted from its £150 RRP, at around £79.

Professional edition still discounted

There are some other deals around though. Windows 7 Professional can be had for £90 from a few places. These are Ebuyer, Staples, PC World and Micro Anvika. How long these will stay online for is anyone's guess, but Ebuyer has 250 copies left at this discounted price at the time of writing.

Don't know if you need Professional? Our handy Windows 7 edition guide will talk you through the ins and outs of all six iterations.
