Google Wave invites go out to lucky 100,000

If you're wondering why the whole of Twitter suddenly seems to be looking for an invite to Google Wave, it's because the company has opened up its innovative new messaging service to 100,000 new testers. Over 1 million people applied for a preview of the communication software, which blends elements of IM, email, social networking and collaboration. CNET News' Tom Krazit has more on Google Wave opening up for wider testing.
