Last time our dad sent us down to Boots to get his photos developed, he said he was adding to his nature collection. Unfortunately, we misunderstood and it turned out to be his 'naturist' collection. The police got involved, and now the courts say we can't even buy a sandwich from Boots anymore. So it's a good thing we've got Samsung's SPP-2020, a digital printer that means we don't even have to leave the house to get our photos developed.
At £129, this tiny digital wonder isn't cheap, but it looks miles better than the HiTi Photoprinter -- the Michael Winner of the printer world. Having said that, Samsung's photo paper isn't quite as thick as HiTi's, so you don't get the same 'professionally developed' feel.
We've spent all morning printing out the sordid evidence of our launch party on Samsung's printer, which was easy as pie using the software. The pictures show every last drop of sweat on our brows, and even the popping veins of editorial staff trying to push past their legally suspect binges. We'll let you know how it copes with our nature shots in a full review soon. -GC
