Is 2013 the year of the underdog operating system? BlackBerry 10, Windows Phone 8 and Firefox OS are all set for a watershed year, but can any of them really tackle the iPhone and Android?
And we discuss the week's tech news, including more record Apple profits, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the ridiculously-named Galaxy Fonblet, and the secret origin of Siri. Plus our trusty friend Otamatone is his usual verbose self as he reviews the new Canon EOS M.
And we turn to you -- yes, you with the ears -- for your comments in the feedback section. Does Apple price its products too high? Does anyone want a BlackBerry PlayBook? Why has no-one heard of the Google Nexus 7? Unlimited slower broadband or limited faster speed? And who'd win in a cage fight between Bert from The Raccoons and Deputy Fuzz from Bravestarr?
Whether you're looking for technological help and advice or just need to air your views about the gadgetry of the day, leave us a comment below or on our Facebook page -- where you can mingle with like-minded tech heads and glimpse behind the scenes at CNET Towers.

Personally i think BB10 will do well, and i can acvtually say that having used it on a dev alpha for a while, its totally worlds apart from any other BB phone before it.
As for the broadband question, i seriously suggest have a look at BT, where i live vodafone cant sort 3G, EE just have and its a small town in wales. even with all that i get 70meg down and 20meg up from BT with unlimited useage. i think its infinity 2 or summat, but either way id always go with the ultd package as long as you get over 15meg down speed.
id far rather be a lil slower on the web and look at what i want, than be wicked fast and have to be wary of what i use if i had to make that choice.

Really.. You mention something as obscure as Firefox OS and completely fail to mention Ubuntu Phone which is a bit more of a complete package.
