Luke, Andy and Rich take the CNET UK Podcast on tour, broadcasting (almost) live from the epicentre of the technology world: IFA.
IFA is a gargantuan tech expo held every year in Berlin, with more new products than even our intrepid heroes could see in one lifetime. They've snuffled out the most titillating tech truffles for you gadget connoisseurs, and discuss the themes and highlights of the show.
Undoubtedly the most interesting development was cameras with apps, from the slightly limited Nikon S800c and Sony NEX-5R to the full-blown Android Jelly Bean goliath that is the Samsung Galaxy Camera.
Windows 8 tablets have sprung up like weeds too, with a seemingly endless supply of touchscreen machines ready to steer you through the choppy waters of a new operating system. Many of them have detachable or flippable screens, blurring the line between tablets and laptops.
Then there are the phones, with one in particular the undoubted star of the show -- the mighty Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Make sure you check out our hands-on preview, with oodles of photos and video.
Taking the booby prize were a bumper crop of products with abysmal names, the absolute pinnacle of which was Samsung's Ativ range of Windows 8 products. Just yuck.
