They said it couldn't be done, yet here we are: the CNET UK Podcast has reached episode 250 in the same week our official Facebook page received its 10,000th Like -- both heady milestones, we're sure you'll agree. To celebrate, we discuss Motorola joining forces with Google, Apple's scrap with Samsung and the single best bit of reader feedback we've ever had.
We're also giving you a rare glimpse behind the curtain by filming proceedings -- a separate story will be up shortly. Fear not if you prefer to ingest your technology news, reviews and general tomfoolery through your ears instead of your eyes: it's business as usual for your listening pleasure. I still don't understand why so many people disliked her, she must have run over a lot of dogs! But then again ... women driver and all that.

I also miss Flora, she was intelligent and brought some original humour to the pod as opposed to obvious puns.

i dont think the motorola deal is a bad thing...coz if you look at the last two nexus handsets, they didn't exactly set the mobile world alight. (nexus one was ok but was in the shadow of the htc desire...and similar with the nexus s)
in a way it will allow google to put the hardware they want wthout any fear of exact copycat competition from other companies. and it'll be the same case with the tablets.
The only trouble i can see is that they could raise the license fee for android handset manufacturers because they now have the edge after acquiring motorola...but hey good side and bad side to every thing
