We hope you've already watched part 1 of the 100th episode. We'd hate to think you were skipping ahead to part 2 just to see the horrible, twisted faces of Crave listeners who submitted YouTube videos. Sure, it's as engaging as watching a train wreck, but you'll regret it when you've vomited in your lap.
Nick Hide kindly stepped in to discuss The Year in Tech, which takes a look back at the Millennium. That's when the Y2K bug threatened to wreak havoc on the world, America Online was purchased by Time Warner for a piffling $162bn, Concorde made its last flight, and Microsoft released Windows ME -- an OS as pointless as the self-tipping hat.
We end the show with news that poor people in developing nations are earning a living by making and selling virtual goods in World of Warcraft. What the hell happened to good old sweatshops? Has the world gone mad?
Once you've watched both videos, you might want to right-click this link to grab the MP3 audio file, or alternatively, check us out on iTunes.
We hope you enjoy the show as much as we enjoyed making it. Props to Kate Macefield, Rupert Goodwins, Nate Lanxon, Nick Hide, Andrew Lim, Ian Morris, Rich Trenholm, Ash Denton, Chris Beaumonth, Rory Reid and the wonderful Shannon Doubleday -- to whom this show is dedicated. Oh, and a massive thanks to all the regular listeners and those who hang out in the Crave Pocast Lounge on our forums. We love you! Until 101, friends. -Rory Reid
