LG larges it with its 24-inch L245WP monitor
As much as we love LG's 19-inch monitors, Crave ain't rollin' with nothing less than 30 inches -- even 20-inch screens are a slap in the face.
Thankfully LG has seen the light and will release a 24-inch display known as the L245WP. It offers a 1,920x1,200-pixel native resolution (for full 1080p support), a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness and an 8ms response time, which is plenty quick if you ask us.
You get component and HDMI inputs, and it's smart enough to work with HDCP so you can play copy-protected hi-def movies, provided you have an HDCP-ready graphics card.
LG has sensibly steered away from a glossy screen coating, instead opting for an anti-reflection panel. You also get a couple of USB ports, picture-in-picture and a pivot function.
We'll review one of these bad boys shortly, but if you're the impatient type you can buy one in April for about £599.
Update: We now have a review of the LG Flatron L245WP live in our Reviews channel.
