Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro early review: Qwerty in HD

Mobile World Congress 2010

Do you fancy the sinuous curves of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, but can't live with an on-screen keyboard? Rest easy, Qwerty-lovers, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is here.

The keyboard only adds 2.5mm to the Vivaz's svelte thickness, but it does shave down some of the phone's features. Instead of an 8.1-megapixel camera, the Vivaz Pro has a 5.1-megapixel snapper. But there's still 720p HD video recording and a 81mm (3.2-inch) screen.

Wi-Fi, GPS and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack are all present and correct, as is a microSD memory card slot. Sony Ericsson tells us we'll have to wait until summer for the Vivaz Pro, so slake your Qwerty thirst with our hands-on photos by clicking 'Continue' -- but not before you've seen our video from the Mobile World Congress show floor.
