The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a week away, and Samung is dropping hints with billboards in New York's famous Times Square. But what can we learn about the hotly-anticipated Android smart phone from these latest teasers?
First off, the poster is split between black and white. That tallies with previous rumours that the S4 would arrive in just black and white tones, ditching the blue of the Galaxy S3.
And the big number 4 suggests that Samsung is dropping the Roman numerals see in the official name of the Galaxy SII and SIII, although like most of the world we've always used S2 and S3 because, well it just makes more sense.
We're glad the phone isn't called the SIV, because then it would be the Samsung Galaxy Sieve. Although Samsung has worse names in mind: Galaxy Metrix, Velvet and Galaxy Thunder are all registered by the Korean company.
Other S4 rumours and leaks include purported benchmarks that suggest monster speeds from the new phone.
Samsung's first teaser was released this week: a baffling video featuring a young whippersnapper of a phone fan getting excited about the S4. The finished article will be unveiled in NYC next Thursday, and we'll be there -- so keep it CNET for the first news, previews and videos.
What do you want to see in the S4? Tell me your thoughts in the comments or on our Facebook page.

It's amazing that the 8gb iPhone 4 costs about £60 more than the equivalent Nexus 4, , when they are miles apart in every category.

Something that's just as amazing is that the Galaxy S3 costs £30 more than the iPhone 4:

@Peter Hudosn. You know what, I'm sorry for telling you to die. It was just a spur of the moment thing, and I don't mean it. You provide intelligent alternative comments to counter trolls like me, so please mock me as much as you want.

Irritating trailer?
This website is biased it's unbelievable. I could easily find 50 examples from 2013 alone.

Absolutely astonishing that Damien decided to apologise to Peter after I pointed out to him the fact he wrote that comment after claiming someone has written truly disgusting comments, namely myself, after someone, namely Matt had recommended euthanasia to me I responded in an equally brutal way, which is only fair. There's the proof that I was write and Damien feels stupid about it and so he should, nuff said.
Damien2501 8 March, 2013 01:54
^Ahaha Just die fam. I was gonna apologize anyway, your comment was of no relevance to me, but if you wanna believe that you go give yourself a medal :)) What a female dog.

We should be applauding innovation and not slating it, without innovation we would all still be using pagers, innovation gives us choice!
