Phuddly-dumpf! Bang the Samsung Galaxy S4 rumour timpani! There's now less than a week to go before the year's hottest new phone is unveiled, and new leaked screenshots purport to show off the device's specs.
New screenshots unearthed by GSM Israel suggest the S4 could include a feature called Smart Scroll, which starts to scroll the screen when the phone detects that you're looking at the screen.
That sounds like the eye-tracking feature that set the rumour mill a-spinning earlier this week. The phone also knows when your attention has wandered and locks the phone when you're not looking at it. These features can all be turned off if you don't like the sound of them.
Not all leaks turn out to be accurate. An image spotted earlier this week turned out to be a mockup, but did feature some no-brainer specs like Jelly Bean, a 13-megapixel camera and quad-core processor. These leaked screenshots -- if real -- confirm that we're looking at 1.8GHz quad-core chip with 2GB of RAM, beneath a 1,080x1,920 high definition screen.
The S4's predecessor the Galaxy S3 was kept under such tight security that even the engineers found it hard to get hold of the phone. I imagine the same goes for the S4, but still some secrets have leaked out.
Official teaser posters and a video have been punted out by Samsung, but the phone itself is still under wraps. It's revealed next Thursday in New York City -- and we'll be there, so keep it CNET for the first news, previews and videos.

I am expecting to see a metal and glass clad phone at this price point. I am not saying plastic is wrong but looking at the competitors, like the HTC One and Sony Xperia Z, the build quality is up a notch now. I do hope Samsung makes an effort cause charging more for something that does not feels premium is ghastly. I did not like the screen of the Samsung Galaxy S3, I felt the whites were yellowish and did not ooze quality. It just felt like a mass market phone with a premium price tag.
