Android fans, assemble! We've gone hands-on with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, so hit play on the video above to check out the very first phone to run Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Google's Android operating system.
Ice Cream Sandwich, aka Android 4.0, features a tweaked interface with Tron-style blue styling, and there are no physical buttons on the mobile itself.
Instead, all the action is controlled using on-screen icons -- namely back, home and a multi-tasking button that stacks all the apps you have running on top of each other. You can dismiss apps by swiping on them to the side.
Other neat features include a new power-management system, and the ability to unlock your phone using facial recognition, which is great unless you have an evil twin.
The hardware on this phone is impressive too. The screen measures an epic 4.65 inches on the diagonal, and has a stonkingly high 1,280x720-pixel resolution. Everything on this vast display looks really clear and sharp, so we think it'll be great for photos and video, as well as Web browsing.
Around the back there's a 5-megapixel camera, and inside there's a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, which seemed to keep everything running very smoothly.
Ice Cream Sandwich is feeling very slick, so we're looking forward to seeing what it can do when it comes to the full review. Will it be enough to trounce the iPhone 4S? Let us know your predictions in the comments section below, or on our Facebook wall.

@ Luke Westaway, around 0.30 min you mention it is memory management system which it is not. It's your mobile internet usages. It shows which apps are using how much of your mobile internet allowance so you can manage your apps as needed.
