Samsung Galaxy Fit flexes muscles in hands-on video

Mobile World Congress 2011

At Mobile World Congress, we jogged on the spot and did a few star jumps in preparation for shooting a smashing hands-on video with the Samsung Galaxy Fit.

The Fit definitely doesn't have the highest specs of the phones we've come across at the trade show. With a 600MHz processor and a 3.3-inch, 240x320-pixel screen, it doesn't push any tech boundaries. But, on the plus side, Samsung will probably offer the Fit at a reasonable price.

The Fit isn't the most handsome smart phone in the Samsung family either, due to its slightly awkward chrome chin, but it's hardly ugly. It's brainy too, packing Android 2.2 Froyo. As with the Galaxy mini, Samsung has decided to slap an earlier version of Android onto the Fit, rather than the more recent Android 2.3 Gingerbread. That's fine, though -- you'll still get all the best features, as well as access to the Android Market.

Although we don't know exactly how much the Fit will cost, it definitely won't break the bank when it's released in March. In the meantime, check out our full preview and gallery of hands-on photos for more information.
