There's nothing more annoying than getting your headphone cables tangled up or losing the headphone adaptor for your mobile phone. Enter the Philips SHB6102 Bluetooth headphones, which might solve your mobile music woes.
These stylish headphones allow you to listen to your music and answer calls wirelessly over Bluetooth. You can pair them with your stereo Bluetooth (A2DP)-enabled phone, or alternatively use the provided 3.5mm adaptor.
The adaptor lets you connect these headphones to any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, which means you can connect them to your old Walkman cassette player, CD player or even your TV.
We found being able to connect them to a TV really useful, since it meant we could watch our favourite shows -- MacGyver, NCIS and Avatar -- in bed, without annoying anyone else. Good times.
The phone hands-free feature worked well too, cutting out the music and letting us answer calls without needing to take the headphones off or touch our mobile phones. The SHB6102 feature controls on them that let you answer and reject calls, adjust the volume and control music on certain devices.
Our only niggle with the SHB6102 is the price tag -- at around £100 they're relatively cheap, but still a bit steep for some mobile music fans. Hopefully, the price will come down in time. -Andrew Lim
