It all looks rather familiar, complete with all those Live Tiles on the screen. But we haven't had a good look at the back before. There's a camera hump that looks similar to that found on the Lumia 925. Which suggests the Bandit's imaging skills will be closer to that handset than the super-powered 41-megapixel Lumia 1020. Previous rumours said the 1520 would tote a 20-megapixel camera, so we'll have to wait and see if that's borne out. That looks like a polycarbonate casing, as on other Lumia models.
The 1520 is said to be Nokia's first 6-inch device. So not quite its tablet we've heard about, but not far off. That screen's not only massive, it's also 1080p HD resolution. Inside is rumoured to be a quad-core processor which should keep things running nicely.
The Lumia 1520 should be the last flagship from Nokia before Microsoft takes over its mobile division. The deal should be finalised in the first few months of 2014. Handsets will still be branded as Nokia, but will be made under the stewardship of Ballmer and co. Which direction they take the Finnish company in is anyone's guess, but I think we can safely say that Android-powered Nokia blower isn't going to happen any time soon.
Are you excited about the Nokia Lumia 1520? Should the company make a tablet under Microsoft's leadership? Is 6 inches too big for a mobile? Let me know what you reckon in the comments below, or over on our Facebook page.
