One mobile phone that we're sure to see out at CES is the Motorola Razr V3xx. We've already had a quick hands-on with it here in the UK, and the good news is it's available now for free on a monthly contract.
Not to be mistaken with the chunky Motorola V3x, the V3xx is everything we thought the V3x would be but wasn't. It's about the same size as the original Razr V3 but comes with HSDPA (Super 3G) connectivity.
This means you can browse the Web at almost the same speed as you would at home. You can also make video calls on it, listen to music or take photographs using the 1.3-megapixel camera -- an upgrade to the V3x, but still pretty unimpressive compared to many of today's camera phones.
The V3xx features A2DP (stereo Bluetooth) so you can listen to your music wirelessly and in stereo with a pair of Bluetooth headphones. There's also an expandable microSD slot that means you can store all your favourite music and photos.
Our first impressions of the V3xx are good: we really like the Razr's form factor, fast Internet access speeds and stereo Bluetooth. We're just a tad disappointed that the camera only has a 1.3-megapixel sensor. -AL
