LG's mighty flagship Optimus 4X HD is officially arriving on 27 August, so if you want one you'd better get your skates on and scoot on down to Phones 4u and preorder it today.
If the phone alone isn't enough to get you shifting, Phones 4u will send you to see Ms Cheryl Cole -- the first 50 lucky preorders will get two tickets to see the Geordie songstress in the flesh, at the coincidentally named LG Arena in Birmingham.
The 8.9mm slim Optimus 4X HD boasts Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, with a mahoosive 4.7-inch 720p screen and 16GB of internal storage. Moreover, LG won't shut up about its new User Experience, which includes advanced multimedia features such as QuickMemo and Media Plex.
As if there aren't already enough outlets for sharing your thoughts, wishes, hopes, fears and pointless day dreams these days, QuickMemo allows you to jot down anything that pops into your ball of grey matter on the screen, and share it instantly with all your friends and family.
On top of that, LG has built in Media Plex, a program allowing you to play around with video content. Effectively, you can live zoom, fingertip seek and draw during video playback, which is a step in the right direction for all you armchair directors out there. Steve and John, LG's fun-loving baseball fans, do a pretty good job of showing you what all this means in practice, so take a look at what they're up to in this video.
All these extra touches may set the Optimus 4X apart in terms of nifty and novel tricks, but the Samsung Galaxy S3 remains unblemished at the top of the smart phone podium for its overall capability, and much better battery life. Read our exhaustive, in-depth Optimus 4X and Galaxy S3 reviews if you're still undecided.
LG's latest gadget can be yours on T-Mobile, Vodafone and O2, but Orange will throw in 400 minutes, 3,000 texts and 250MB for as little as £26 per month. Having said that, for just one little pound more you can sign with O2 and get 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data. Whatever floats your boat, take your pick on the Phones 4u website -- and check out our mobile deals page for more info.
Although it's available for preorder today, LG won't let you get your grubby little paws on it until the 27 August, and if you want a white one, you're going to have to sit on your hands even longer.
If it's LG's latest offering -- or just Cheryl Cole -- that makes you hot under the collar, let me know about it in the comments below, or on our Facebook page.

Don't buy an LG phone they will leave you high and dry. There software and update support are rubbish. This is coming from a LG optimus 2x owner still waiting on an Android ice cream update.

Its a good phone, but theres nothing to make it stand out from HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S3.

I've had a long string of high end android phones (Motorola Dext, Milestone 2, Atrix, LG Optimus 2X) and I have to say, although I currently use an Atrix (due almost entirely to the awesome fingerprint scanner) I still think that the Optimus 2X was the best phone I ever owned, despite to what the first commenter thinks. The hardware was amazing, great screen, nice weight and camera, Tegra 2, great sound chip. Yes, the stock rom wasn't amazing and updates are very slow, but thanks to the great work of the Cynogenmod team and others the hardware could really let rip! The music sound quality through the headphones increased massively when I installed a custom kernel featuring an updated sound driver called Voodoo Sound. I recommend the phone to anyone looking for a decent android phone: they're easily fast enough, great in all other regards and more over, can be picked up dirt cheap these days!
