Nexus klaxon! Drop everything phone fans, because the Google Nexus 4 is on sale again today at Google Play after being out of stock for weeks.
The Nexus 4 goes on sale at 5pm today. The 8GB model costs £239 and the 16GB model costs £279 -- solid gold bargains for a quad-core, 4.7-inch smart phone with the latest Android Jelly Bean software built in.
The arrival of new Nexuses was heralded to phone fans with an email to anyone who had signed up for updates on the new phone.
The popular Nexus 4 sold out in less than half an hour when it first went on sale, so fingers crossed it hangs around a bit longer when stock is released to the Google Play online shop this afternoon.
Fingers crossed too that delivery times will be a bit snappier. Even those who managed to endure the first day chaos and bag themselves a Nexus blower found themselves waiting up to three weeks to actually get their hands on their new phone.
After selling out initially, the Nexus 4 began showing up on eBay for crazy prices. The popular phone is also available on networks including O2, but for substantially more than the £240 price on Google Play.

Keep on trying, i eventually got one and keep refreshing, they show as sold out and then refresh, and if you get it in your cart and process the order says they are working on it, keep clicking you will eventually get through to google wallet.

Finally got through this time. It said delivery was 1-2 weeks on the store but my email then said 2-5 days.

I am not in the UK at the moment. So I can't buy one anyway as one has to be on the Internet in the UK for the page to work. This lot will be sold out in minutes. Let's hope that there is another delivery before the New Year. Still want one of these though.

woohoo! I have faith again in google. 17.04 I was able to place an order. Slight problem with website saying problem ordering due to high demand but I carried on refreshing and hey presto the ordering procedure went smoothly. Ok. Had to pay a £9.99 del chrg but I have an email back saying 1-2 weeks delivery period which I can live with. Payment not deducted til goods ship which is good also #happydays

Confirmed in Google wallet. Had to keep on clicking the payment button though before it registered.

Bought 16gb one from my old HTC desire. So I was super slow but I had no problems at all. 1 to 2 weeks delivery time. Perfect.

Managed to get a 16gb version and checkout in full with confirmation email already received. Just got to wait 4_5 weeks to get it now. There is a limit to one per customer this time which makes sense. Already counting the days down to its arrival.

Got the 16gb as well, 4-5 weeks is annoying, but this is the best value for money phone on the market, just a shame it wont be here for Christmas :(

The wait was worth it. Those people that brought the N4 on contract or brought alternative phones less than 14 days ago need to remember they can still return it, contact your seller. If more than 14 days, still contact your seller, hear what they say, remember if you don't ask, you'll never know...

Bought the 16GB today no probs. 1-2 weeks delivery time. 1-2 days shipping duration. All confirmed by email.
What's all this 4-5 weeks stuff? Must have been for people that ordered after 5.30pm.

It seems people that ordered late yesterday with expected 4-5 weeks delivery have had their devices dispatched today while those who ordered early have no such news

I ordered late yesterday. I had an estimated 4-5 week delivery time and my receipt said that I would not be charged until the item had shipped. Upon checking my bank soon after ordering however it seemed that the money had already been debited. Not really sure what the situation is. Did this happen to anyone else?
