British Airways lets passengers text and email

British Airways has opened up the airwaves, letting passengers on its all-business-class London-to-New York route use text and email. CNET UK's sister site silicon.com reports that voice calls won't be allowed, as many of BA's customers objected to the idea. Web browsing will also be available between London City Airport and New York's JFK, with data charged at international rates. Head over to silicon.com for the full story on BA letting passengers use their phones.
