Black HTC One leaks ahead of Tuesday's launch

Another day, another HTC One leak. This time we get a look at the handset in black, courtesy of Unwired View.

Design-wise, it looks identical to the silver model we already spied. The images on the screen are different too, with this one listing New York as the home city, whereas the silver one had London. HTC will hold events in both London and New York on Tuesday, so expect to see the phone launched then.

HTC has opted for a two-button layout below the screen, while most devices that run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean -- like the Nexus 4 -- have three. Maybe the HTC logo could double as a button though.

Numerous teasers concerning the One have been punted out by HTC. Check out the videos spliced together in a 20-second clip below, via Phone Arena.

Head to HTC's Facebook page and you'll see the date in bold, while over on its website there's a countdown to Tuesday, with the '1' highlighted every time it flashes up. A hint as to the name, maybe?

It's not like HTC is trying to keep the mobile a secret. Company CEO Peter Chou whipped it out at a recent company party, leading the crowd in a chant and taking a few snaps while he was there.

The phone -- which started life as the HTC M7 -- could have some pretty nifty 'ultrapixel' technology inside, according to one rumour, which could help it stand out from other devices. This is backed up by the fact HTC has promised it'll "kick off a new sound and camera experience" this year.

All eyes on Tuesday, then. With the PS4 said to be launched on Wednesday, it's going to be a busy week for tech fans.

What are you hoping for from the HTC One? Which would you go for -- black or silver? Let me know in the comments, or on our Facebook page.

That bears a striking resemblance to the blackberry z10....

Identical to the z10. I do not like the look of that phone at all. Its sad that HTCs last top phone was the HTC Desire HD which came out in 2010!

Observe where the bezel ends and the screen starts...Those are some thick borders. I was hoping more big phones would prioritise an edge to edge mind set.
I wonder how much slimmer this is to the Xperia Z/ZL if at all

The curves look like the BlackBerry Z10, but the speakers, front camera & sensors make HTC's new phone distinct. And speaking of the Z10, it has a striking resemblence to the iPhone 3GS :-!

Sense 5 looks nice, it would be great if HTC has combined the live tile interface of Windows with Android. I like HTC phones, they are soo under rated, but I simply won't buy a phone that doesn't have a removable battery.

HTC's last top phone was actually the HTC One X. It was a beautiful piece of hardware and arguably the best looking and unique phone of the last generation of smartphones.

This may well be my next phone. Want to get away from Samsung for a while!

However much it looks like a Z10, It is still one damn sexy phone (so is the blackberry by the way)

I own a HTC One X and it is a brilliant phone, but because of bad battery life, I just can't recommend it. So please HTC, removable battery... Also I'd like to see HTC market it's phones better, Samsung phones weren't that superior to HTC's, but Sammys marketing budget and adverts were.

And in the photo, I think the live tiles in the background are live wallpapers with social integration.

I own the HTC One X+ and it's great. Battery life is no different to Desire HD. Yeah I'd like a removable battery if I could have it, but happy to take the hit for 64gb and 25gb dropbox
