Acme-like megacorp 3M has developed a new optical film that lets small-screen devices such as phones and MP3 players show video in full stereoscopic 3D -- without you having to wear the dorky specs. The film goes into the backlight and uses two rows of LEDs, which project sequential images at each eye, creating the 3D effect.
