T-Mobile gets touchy with second Android phone: G1 Touch

Mobile Phones

T-Mobile has revealed the name of its second Android phone, in a tweet on its official Twitter feed. It's going to be called the G1 Touch. Wonder where they came up with that...

The new phone will succeed the T-Mobile G1, the first phone to run Google's open-source Android operating system.

As yet it's unclear which phone will be rebadged with the G1 Touch moniker, but some reports reckon it could be the HTC Magic, currently exclusive to Vodafone.

Looking even further ahead, a Chinese manufacturer has already confirmed it will be providing the third T-Mobile Android handset later this year. The Huawei U8230 may well be branded as the G3, or perhaps the G1 S? Just a thought.
