Hot Phones

While we like the original HTC Touch Pro, it doesn't feel as refined as other smart phones coming out at the moment. Enter the new HTC Touch Pro2. Featuring a curvier, sexier and more desirable design, the Pro2 looks fantastic. The keypad is also much easier to type on than that of its predecessor and, overall, we liked how the Pro2 felt in the hand.

Specs-wise, it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and features a 528MHz Qualcomm processor. There's Wi-Fi and HSDPA for all your browsing needs, and the screen tilts up, which means if your hands get tired, you can rest the Pro2 on a table. GPS gives you access to location-based services and there's a 3.2-megapixel camera if you want to take pictures of your travels.

Disappointingly, there's still no built-in 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a real shame. From the very little time that we had to play with it, the touchscreen seemed responsive, but Windows Mobile was as fiddly as ever. Hopefully, HTC will make a similar phone that runs Android soon.
