Hot Phones

Nokia is going after BlackBerry in a big way at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Nokia E55 is specifically targeting the Blackberry Pearl.

Like the Pearl, the E55 avoids the wide Qwerty keypad we're used to seeing on E-series mobys for a more traditional layout. The keys are still arranged in a Qwerty style, but two letters are assigned to each number key.

That may take some getting used to, but it also means the phone can be relatively thin and light. Nokia claims the battery will last for nearly a month on standby (28 days to be precise). That's something we can't wait to test, but until then watch our video for more on this handset.
