Some customers were irked after the iPhone price dropped by $200 (£100) about two months after its release. After initially dismissing their concerns, Apple sent an apology by way of a $100 store credit for early iPhone buyers directly to their phones. Pictured is the SMS message one such consumer received on his iPhone in September 2007.
