Sony Ericsson K660i: Straightforward is its middle name

Mobile Phones

Are you screaming at walls because your phone weighs a tonne and does a million things, but making phone calls and texting is an absolute nightmare? Does it turn every task into a technological labyrinth with no foreseeable end? Fear not, dear reader, not all phones are designed exclusively for the l33t geek, some are actually quite simple.

Take the Sony Ericsson K660i, for example, a simple handset with a simple design. Aimed at people whose middle name is 'straightforward', the K660i does away with frills and keeps things basic. Don't underestimate it though, you scoffers, it's far from underpowered -- HSDPA (3.5G) makes browsing the Web superfast.

Sending text messages and calling mates won't leave you pulling your hair out. Similar to other mid-range Sony Ericsson handsets, such as the K550i, the K660i offers an intuitive interface that's easy to navigate, and a simple keypad is great for texting. Better still, the K660i is a real looker, so you won't be embarrassed when you pull it out at the pub.

If you think it's your cup of phone, you can pick the Sony Ericsson K660i for free on a monthly contract or SIM-free for around £170. Expect a full review soon. -Andrew Lim.
