We were pretty gloomy about Motorola's chances this year, particularly since it hasn't had a big win in aeons -- since the Razr V3, in fact. But it genuinely pulled something cool, if modest, out of the hat with its new music phone the Rokr E8. It could just be the hero phone that'll save Moto's bacon.

I really hate how the world is going touch screen. I've never yet found one I like or can use properly. This is another phone I would simply not consider due to that interface.
