Another 'iPhone killer´ you say? Pray tell how something which is not even there yet can be killed. Or needs to be killed. More marketing drivel I'd say, from your writers and/or Sony. As for the iPhone, that has been nothing but marketing drivel up till now...

K850i is the don phone! The only floor is perhaps the video quality which I hope is an improvement on the usual SE pixelated garbage! N95 is good but why bother having a 5MP camera with sophisticated optics with no flash? Even my Great Gran would have had the technical knowledge to add that on! Where did you designers get your degrees? On the sun? Here on earth the sun doesn't shine 24/7! Nokia could have won over millions of die hard SE followers by just adding a Xenon flash! Anyway, iPhone you say? iPhone is nothing but a pile of hype for all those brainless 'follow the crowd' iPod users who believe something is good because their next door neighbour has one! The thing has no features that are revolutionary! Infact if anything it was like a year out of date as it was! Apple could sell air conditioning units to the Eskimo's but I have no doubt that Eskimo's have much more intelligence that Apple customers! Nice design though! I'll give it that!

Omg..i agree 100% with what was said by the person about n95, iphone and k850i. I am in the market now for a 5mp phone, and the only (NOTE THE ONLY) reason why i'm not getting a N95 is that it doesnt have a proper flash. However k850i lacks a decent video recording. take note of the KU990 by LG those, it looks good. But why oh why cant they stick a external camera cover on (if it affects the internal build) and have a xenon that is bright enough (apparently its not =/). Is it really that hard? I would happily pay the extra hundreds for a nearly perfect. I dont even need 3G, GPS or wi-fi, who really uses their phone to browse? 3G and internet is too expensive to use on vodafone in NZ anyway. Just a good flash, camera, music features and a cover please!!

Sony Erricson phones are the best on the market in my opinion.Their cameras are top of the range due to Cybershot,and the iPhone has done little to impact Sony's Rule in the world of phones.I once did a survey on a friend list of over 700 individuals on what phones they preffered.I had a huge response,over 350 replies,and the final count was:
Sony Erricson phones=197
Samsung phones=111
Nokia phones=33
LG phones=9

This was done over two months ago,but I did include a mention of the iPhone's arrival in the UK in Autumn/Winter,some individuals were quite negative about it,but these were limited.Many were positive and expressed interest in owning one,but preffered his/her choice for the survey.As you can see,Sony Erricson phones are becoming a huge trend in the world of Mobile phoning.

barh sony are playing catch up. They have bog standard features of new phones right now.

At least the iphone was innovate, sony "use our products and pay more for them, cause nothing else will work on my sony phone" have made a phone which looks uninspiring and lacks any real development.

just got one, not that impressed as its tricky 2 use,poor battery life, very slow switching tasks and the menu system is complex and duplicates tasks under different icons.worst of all vodafone have skimped on the bluetooth headset, there isnt one, and the standard ones are shit.i now have 4 pairs that will never be used. also the camera isnt cybershot and it shows. the sound quality isnt up 2 much compared 2 my sony mp3 player.plus points are good video and massive storage. also i didnt pay a penny for it but if i did i would feel seriously cheated.
