Nokia's L'Amour Collection was originally launched in dowdy shades of brown and beige, but the Finns have subsequently traded them in for pink and charcoal. The company's prose tends more towards the purple, describing the phones as "opulent, beautifully ornamented and stylishly modern", not to mention "infused with a sense of romanticism and avant-garde glamour".

Fortunately Nokia is better at making phones than it is at describing them. Beneath its artful exterior, the Nokia 7373 offers a 2-megapixel camera, an FM radio, an integrated MP3 player and a microSD expansion slot. There's also a built-in Sudoku game for those moments when contemplating your inner and outer pinkness begins to pale.
