Nokia 6151, 1110i, 6275, 6080, 2875: Five wallet-friendly phones

It's a good thing we love mobile phones because manufacturers can't seem to make enough of them. If you collected all the mobile phones in the world and dismantled them, you could use the components to convert London into a Blade Runner-style metropolis, complete with a troupe of maniacal humanoid robots.

One mobile phone manufacturer who could easily mastermind this technological overhaul is the mighty Nokia. Nokia phones are, after all, a staple diet of the mobile phone market and it's rare to find somebody who hasn't owned a Nokia handset.

Today Nokia has added another five candybar handsets to their impressive portfolio of phones. The new phones aren't show stoppers, but they do come cheap and include a plethora of useful features. From what we gather, the 6151 (pictured) and 1110i are the only handsets that will hit the UK, but for those of you who are interested, here's a breakdown of the wallet-friendly five:

Nokia 6151: 3G connectivity, 1.3-megapixel camera, 30MB internal memory, microSD memory card slot, music player, stereo FM radio and Visual Radio and Bluetooth.

Nokia 1100i: Simple interface, Nokia Prepaid Tracker (to help people monitor their phone usage) and 15 hours of standby time.

Nokia 6275: CDMA connectivity, 2-megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot (up to 2GB), Bluetooth, music player and stereo FM radio.

Nokia 6080: EDGE connectivity and stereo FM radio.

Nokia 2875: CDMA connectivity,1.3-megapixel camera, FM radio and Bluetooth.

The 6151 and 1110i are expected to be in the UK later this year. Expect full reviews then. -AL
