Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water -- it's yet another Eee PC! The 1008HA Seashell (no, we have no idea what the name is about) aims to find a middle ground between the clunky cheapo charms of the basic Eees and the blinged-up premium S101. We got hands-on with a pre-production model to show you how it's shaping up.
It's slimmer and sharper than your bog-standard netbook, with glossy black or white case options. The 10-inch screen and 92 per cent size keyboard make it relatively usable for an ultraportable, while the multitouch mousepad gives more control options.
