Earlier this week, we heard that Samsung has four tablets planned for early next year. Now comes a first image along with the names and screen sizes of the blighters.
SamMobile reports that this pic is of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, courtesy of cdpkorea.com. Joining the Note Pro 12.2 will be the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite which we already heard about. At least, this will be the full line-up if SamMobile's source is correct. Until then, you know the drill: take all this with a pinch of salt.
The source has even gone so far as to pin down each device's model number and week of release in 2014. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (model number SM-T110/T111) will be first, launching sometime in the second week of January (so chances are we'll see it at CES, then). It'll apparently come in a cream white finish, with a 7-inch screen. Next will be the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SMT30/T325) and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P900/P905), which should be with us in week six, everything being hunky-dory.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525) will arrive a week later.
All of these tablets will come with Wi-Fi and LTE, except the Tab 3 Lite, which, to keep the price down, will have 3G instead of 4G. All three Pro models will come in black and white. Storage-wise, the Tab Pro 8.4 and 10.1 will have 16GB of space, while the Note Pro 12.2 will pack 32GB.
Looks like a very happy New Year then, with these four tablets to lighten the January blues. Are you excited about them? Which do you most like the sound of? Let me know in the comments, or on our Facebook page.
