Say hello to our little friend, the Advent 4213. It's only Advent's second crack at making a netbook, but in the time we've spent with it, we think it's among the best we've seen.
Whereas the Advent 4211 was basically a re-badged MSI Wind, the 4213 is based on the ECS G10IL. And that's a good thing, because both the G10IL and the 4213 pack integrated HSDPA connectivity -- simply insert your 3G SIM card into the slot behind the battery and you can surf the Web anywhere you please.
The 4213 is fairly standard otherwise. It uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 10.2-inch 1,024x600-pixel screen, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three USB ports, VGA video output, a webcam, and a relatively large keyboard you can type on without contorting your fingers like a particularly klutzy zombie.
We've not had the chance to test battery life, but the 3,800mAh battery should be good for a couple of hours.
