The kid-friendly programming tool Scratch is one of the few software pieces that exists in the same form on both Windows and Linux versions of the XO laptop.
In the end, Ella said she liked the XO no matter what software it was running. It was fun and just the right size for her (even if all the adults complained about its small keyboard).
