Ooh, look at this, another quite bad photo of an as-yet unannounced Motorola tablet has fallen into our laps. Okay, the laps of those over at Droid-Life. And it looks very much like the Xoom 2. Or to give it its official title, the MZ617. So, Xoom 2 then.
It's the same 10.1-inch screen size as the original Xoom, and is a similar weight, according to the site's sources. It also has HDMI and micro-USB ports, and an SD card slot, just like the original, So what is new?
Well it has a SIM card slot, which could well be to enable LTE for 4G speeds (in the US at least), meaning quicker browsing and faster downloads. There's a front camera, which we guess would be the same 2 megapixels as the original, and a rear-facing one (marked with 'HD'). It also has the same rounded corners as the Droid HD handset that leaked a while ago.
There's no word on when it'll be out, or even any concrete specs, so us Brits could be in for a bit of a wait, especially seeing as LTE isn't due in the UK for a while yet, due to the spectrum still being auctioned. Several handsets have rolled out in the US supporting LTE, such as the HTC Thunderbolt.
Earlier in the week we brought you another Motorola tablet leak -- a mysterious 7-incher with tapered edges and a sleeker design. That squared with Moto's CEO saying earlier in the year the company would release a tablet smaller than the Xoom.
