iPad chills out with FridgePad magnet

If you thought the Apple iPad couldn't get any cooler, wait until you see the FridgePad. You can now adorn your fridge with more than rude poetry and colourful letters, as the Woodford FridgePad sticks your Apple tablet to the chiller door.

Although you might be desperate to stop your iPad from overheating, we don't recommend keeping it in the fridge -- but the FridgePad offers the next best thing. A powerful magnet attaches the iPad to your fridge door. Or any metal surface, in fact -- you could stick it on the outside of your car.

If you do choose to keep it on the fridge, you'll be able to browse recipes as you chop onions, catch up on the latest gadget reviews as you wash the dishes, or watch the best technology videos on the Web as you chill out after a huge meal.

The FridgePad securely holds the tablet in place with corner clips, which means future models can be accomodated by swapping in new clips. The magnet doesn't affect the iPad's solid state memory or Wi-Fi signal.

Will you be purchasing a FridgePad when it arrives on Amazon in the autumn, or can hell freeze over before you get an iPad? We're going to leave now before the Mister Freeze-style fridge puns get too much. Meanwhile, take a gander at our ten alternative uses for your Apple iPad.

There is a certain sci-fi feel to having a touch-screen device on surfaces -- but somehow Microsoft still won't manage to sell many of their surface systems, not because of the product, but because they'll have market it really badly (like this horrific display: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cX4t5-YpHQ).

Something similar to the iPad fridge magnets: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTSDPKktbUk

Awesome.
