10 RM EcoQuiet One 50
£449
58 watts (including monitor)
The 50 here refers to how many watts the EcoQuiet and its built-in monitor use "under stress". While my comrades on ZDNet.co.uk found it used more like 58 watts at full pelt, that's still very low. What's amazing here is you're running a monitor and Windows computer for less power than a lightbulb. The EcoQuiet's designed for schools, but you don't need to be a teacher or work in a school to buy one. Visit RM's online shop for details.
Hit the comments to let me know what I missed. Do you have a favourite on this list? Do you care passionately about eco computing, or is it small beer in the bigger green picture?
