The web's best green rewards sites

Tesco Green Clubcard
I'm courting controversy just by including Tesco in this roundup, but there's no getting around the fact it's rewarding shoppers for green actions.

For example, for every bag you reuse, you earn a point. One point is worth 1p in clubcard vouchers. Once you've got £1.50 worth of clubcard vouchers, you can get £1.50 off your shop in Tesco. So reuse ten bags on every weekly shop and after nearly four months, you'll get £1.50 off your shop. You can also earn points by recycling -- find out more on Tesco's Green Clubcard page.

Incidentally, I'd never argue that consumerism alone is going to save the planet, but it is part of the jigsaw -- and if you're already consuming green products you might as well get rewarded in the process. Some, understandably, will argue that these sites actually increase carbon emissions by encouraging us to consume more. I'll leave that for you to decide.
