The Solar Power International conference is organised by industry groups Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).
Five years ago, when the event first started, there were 1,100 attendees. This year, they expect 20,000, a sign that the industry is maturing and growing rapidly.
