Baylis launches smallest-ever wind-up radio

Wind-up addict and inventor Trevor Baylis has unveiled his smallest radio yet -- the Mini Eco Radio. As with Baylis' other radios, this one's a wind-up, but can also be powered by a small solar panel or through a USB port.

We reviewed Trevor Baylis' Trevor Baylis range is a great idea. And with this new wind-up giving 20 minutes of radio for a one-minute wind, I can't complain too much.

This smaller version (just 130mm by 60mm) actually packs a lot in. As well as the solar and USB charging options for the radio, it also has an LED torch and an emergency mobile phone charger. And weighing just 500g, it seems an ideal thing to take camping with you over the summer. It's available at Ethical Superstore for £25.
