Wii MotionPlus: Making it easier to control your Wii

Games and Gear

Feeling too wobbly during Wario Ware: Smooth Moves? Nintendo has unveiled a new Wii remote accessory that could make controlling your Wii games a whole lot easier. The Wii MotionPlus sticks to the bottom of your Wiimote and combines with the accelerometer and sensor bar to improve tracking of your movements.

Anyone who's played a Wii game involving more precise movements than simply chucking a bowling ball will know that added accuracy could go a long way. All games will benefit from this add-on, making it feel like you're completely in sync with your online character.

Sure, it may seem like just another doo-dad to stick on to your Wiimote, but this little piece of plastic could settle the responsiveness issues that have plagued Wii games. UK availability and pricing has yet to be announced, but we hope to see it soon. -Andrew Lim
