LittleIsland's creepy Wedding Robot has something of the Cabbage Patch Kids and Chucky about it. Supposed to be used mainly in place of a welcome party at weddings, the robot will apparently respond to voices, greet people when it detects passers-by, and dance while it plays music.
The custom-made bot, which costs the yen equivalent of around £1,380 and can be made to resemble the owner in both voice and appearance, will also, according to its maker, freely share secrets of the groom to liven up the party. And don't think you're safe just because it's in Japanese. LittleIsland is developing an English-speaking version.
