A year on from his death, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has been paid tribute by the company in a video tribute.
The clip, which you can see if you head to Apple.com, charts Jobs' greatest hits, from the launch of the translucent iMac to the iPod and iPhone. It features black and white photos of the man himself along with audio clips from his famous tech presentations.
At the clip's conclusion a message from current boss Tim Cook appears, which begins, "Steve's passing one year ago today was a sad and difficult time for all of us.
"I hope that today everyone will reflect on his extraordinary life," Cook continues, "and the many ways he made the world a better place." Going on to describe the organisation Jobs helped construct, the new CEO says, "No company has ever inspired such creativity or set such high standards for itself."
For more on Steve Jobs' fascinating life and achievements, read our obituary, which we published a year ago.
Apple remains one of the most interesting, controversial and divisive tech companies around, notorious for its ability to polarise tech fans. But as the first commenter on last year's story put it, "I've never been a fan of Apple. I have, however, always been a fan of Steve Jobs. There is a little less genius, creativity and innovation in the world now. RIP."
How do you think Apple will fare without Jobs at the helm? Tell me in the comments or on our Facebook wall.

What????? Steve Jobs is dead?? When the hell did this happen? Nobody's gone on about this enough!
But if we could just be serious for a moment, I think Steve Ballmer will be missed more greatly, with video tributes consisting mainly of his "Developers" chant. Inspirational stuff from a man who never let baldness hold him back from being a c*nt

Im along time convert from Windows to Apple having moved over when I saw the flat panel widescreen iMac G4 it was such a work of art and Mac Os X made windows icons look like badly drawn cartoon icons.
I have just last week purchased my third new Mac, a Macbook pro with retina display and its a thing of beauty, However I do think the cracks are starting to show with the whole maps issue on ios and the overly high price of the new ipod touch (my son will be getting the older model for Xmas) I'll be sticking with Apple as even a few cracks will take years to esculate into a major problem and there is no better alternative, windows 8 is intriguing though..

oooo its a work of art , bla bla bla. No its a bloody computer where most of the money has been spent on a fancy case and not on the actual stuff that makes it a computer. A huge mark up on a wintel pc...well worth it for some nice icons and better rendered font.

Bill Gates gives $28 Billion of his own wealth to good causes. Steve Jobs pledges to spend every penny of Apple's $40 Billion on destroying Android. Let's remember Steve Jobs for what he really was - an egotistical, megalomaniac piece of sh*t with good marketing skills.

most people do something called respecting the dead. clearly that doesn't apply here for some reason.

I agree with what Kieran Connelly is saying. It is only fair to show the dead some form of respect. This is not a posting where rants are to take place about who did and didn't do what. Thanks Steve for what you gave to Apple. You will not be forgotten.

I was a iPhone user from day one. I just returned my iPhone 5 because of unsatisfactoty bsttery life.
Also myself and so many others say it should hace been AT LEAST 1/4" wider.
