Saab has lifted the lid on a hawt new concept car at the Paris Motor Show. Saab developed this new convertible in conjunction with its BioPower concept, using the same powertrain optimised to run on E85, or 85 per cent ethanol fuel. It also gets a newer version of GM's belt-alternator hybrid system, a mild hybrid system that uses a lithium-ion battery pack and electric motor to provide extra boost and stop the engine while idling.
